This sweet event is dedicated to the biscuits, perfect for a sparkling lemon-flavored breakfast!


100g butter, softened
270 g flour
090 g of granulated sugar
1 egg
grated rind of 2 lemons
½ lemon juice (40 ml)
½ tablespoon baking powder for cakes (8 g.)
1 pinch of salt
(add a few drops of good Limoncello)
icing sugar and granulated sugar to cover


Roll the butter out of the refrigerator one hour before preparation.
With a food processor or in the planetary (with leaves), mounted the softened butter with the sugar. Add the egg, lemon zest and juice and mix well.
Add, finally, the flour sifted with baking powder.
So you will get a very soft dough, but smooth. Try to compact it and put it in the fridge for at least 1 hour, wrapped in plastic wrap.
Preheat the oven to 180°.
After the interval, created balls the size of walnuts. Pass them first in granulated sugar and then plenty of sugar (it is important that it is plentiful)!
Place the balls on the baking sheet covered with baking paper, rather apart, and bake at 180 degrees for approx 12-14 minutes. They must remain clear and golden on the bottom surface.
Just drawn will be quite soft. Wait for it to cool before transferring. You will need two fired and then you can enjoy them with all their flavor.
